GVMC Atchutarama Primary School, one of the schools where Grama Swarajya Samithi implemented WASH programmes, has been honored with the “Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar” from Visakhapatnam Urban. The award was presented on the occasion of World Water Day, 22nd March 2018, by the Andhra Pradesh Ministry of Human Resource Development (AP MoHRD) at Amaravathi.

Grama Swarajya Samithi successfully implemented WASH activities at GVMC KRK Primary School. In recognition of its outstanding efforts, the school was honored with the “Best Primary School under Swachh Bharat Mission” award for Visakhapatnam Urban. The award was presented on 2nd October 2017 at Amaravathi during the culmination ceremony of the Swachhata Hi Seva fortnight.
