As part of our ongoing efforts to promote rural livelihoods and strengthen local market systems, GSS has constructed of a Rural Haat in Thallapalem village, Kasimkota Mandal, Anakapalli District. The facility includes market sheds, a storage godown, waste disposal bins, and sanitation units. This initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the local Grama Panchayat and financial support from the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).This Rural Haat will serve as a critical platform for local farmers, women entrepreneurs, and artisans to directly market their produce and products, ensuring better price realization and strengthening the rural economy.
